Paths, Pond, Stream and Bridge
On the far side of the courtyard patio is a set of stairs leading to the system of paths on the property. By following the path westward, which is in the up stream direction, for 601 feet, you will arrive at our private foot bridge curently under construction. When completed it will be a covered bridge 40 feet in length providing a relaxing place to view the waterfall and stream.

Returning downstream and keeping on the path along the stream you will assend a series of stairs. Approximately 1/2 way up the bank a right branch of the path brings you down to the pond. This pond was originally intended to be a small irrigation pond, but as things happen it grew into the pond we have today. It is unusual because it is protected from wind and sky in the summer,so with a pair of polarized glasses you can see the fish as you may never have seen fish before. This year we stocked the pond with 7 rainbow trout 8-10 inches in size on april 30.

Gardens
The gardens are Marie's creation. Even people that are not gardeners appreciate that there was significant effort involved in creating a beautiful outcome. The rear garden sitting area is close enough to enjoy the sound of the stream and the beauty of the garden.

The front garden has two different sitting areas. The front patio provides views of the raised beds, and the garden patio makes you feel like you are immersed in the garden. All three locations are nice places to sit, converse, read and relax.
